As if you have a choice

This Christmas, I didn’t receive the usual amount of gifts I was accustomed to getting as a child. I only received a few and yet I feel like this Christmas was one for the ages.

I know a lot of people have been affected by the recent calamities, and as such, are not able to spend for gifts like before. Others, including myself, have simply not been able to find the time to buy presents for loved ones. However, it warms my heart to know that there are still people who go out of the way to make others feel special over the holidays.

I will be making several posts about the things I have received for Christmas and what makes each of them special. :)

This first one is ironically, the last gift I opened. It’s from Emy. Although we agreed not to exchange presents, being the stubborn people that we are, we still did. I got him a wallet from Fossil, and he got me perfume and pens (see photo). The Staedtlers are great ‘cause I’ve always wanted new ones (I used to have the set of 10 but they ran out from all the High School planner-ing), while the perfume is somewhat a gag gift. I have no love for the Twilight series (no offense to those who do), and the body spray is apparently inspired by Bella Swan.
